"Chaos de Targasonne"

We moved on from Provence having finally got the car back ( and 900 euros later). A few hours driving south took us right to the Spanish border in the Catalan Pyrenees. The Chaos de Targasonne is an area of bouldering in the meadows and woods below the Carlit Massif, near the ski resort of Font Romeu. Camping at 1800 metres we certainly felt the change in climate from Provence, and there were some lovely cold sunny moutain mornings.

The bouldering itself is great - granite blocks in a really lovely setting. Here are some pictures of the couple of days we spent there.
